Nikki Stinson is an author, professor, and artist from Riverside, California. As a low-income, first-generation college student, she completed an MFA in creative writing from Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) and a BA in English from California Baptist University (Riverside, CA). She has a short story and novel excerpt published.

She is currently working toward a Master’s in Genocide Studies at Stockton University (Galloway, NJ) and is a fellow at the Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education. Nikki enjoys reading, drawing, running, and community activism. She lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband and their three sons.
